POLYPROPYLENE Series
APPLICATION
The MOLEK range of polypropylene busbar insulators
are suitable for medium voltage light current applications.
Typically the insulators are used for neutral and busbar
insulation. Types of installations include outdoor kiosks,
substations, motor control centres, switchboards and control
boxes.
CONSTRUCTION
Insulators are injection moulded and manufactured from
high grade polypropylene with either brass "female" inserts
and bright zinc-plated "male" steel studs.
MATERIAL
Polypropylene is a thermoplastic resin and the particular
qualities include low specific gravity, good mechanical,
thermal and electrical qualities and excellent chemical
resistance.
FINISH
Insulators have a high gloss finish and are available in
standard phase colours
SIZES & TYPES
Codes refer to the type and style of insulator (Refer to
diagrams and pictures). Dimensions are in millimetres (mm).
Standard colours available are black, red, white and blue.
Male (M) refer to studs and Female (F) refer to inserts.
